DEAR ALL, GO THROUGH BELOW THAT CONTAINS THE MATERIAL ON HOW TO INSTALL WINDOWS-XP

FOR THE SAME YOU WILL NEED

1. A CD-ROM DRIVE 24X AND ABOVE.
2. WINDOWS XP CD (BOOTABLE).
3. A KNOWLEDGE ABOUT PARTITIONING.
4. DRIVERS SOFTWARE ONCE YOU ARE DONE WITH WINDOWS XP INSTALLATION.

* check the BIOS settings for cd-rom BOOT option.
* load the cd-rom with with windows xp cd.
* press enter to continue booting with cd-rom.
* you are re-directed to setup (TEXT MODE)
* if you need SATA drivers from your then you need to start using F6 function and load the drivers through floppy.
* once setup loads the drivers, partition should be done according to needs
* after partition is done,windows setup continues to load installation files and restarts
* after restart setup continues in GUI mode,here you should be able to give username,password, and other details,CD-KEY must be entered which is provided on the back of windows cd POUCH(STICKER)
* setup restarts the system approximately in 30 minutes(depends on the pc).
* for the first windows booting it will take sometime to load files
* you wil have to install device drivers once you are logged in to the particular user who has administrator rights.


THIS COMPLETES WINDOWS INSTALLATION.
